The concrete came in on Monday and I was so excited!! It took 3 trucks (I think). I had to leave in the middle of all the excitement to go to an orthopedic appointment. It looks great and just in time.
I have a workshop scheduled for the 28th. It's for a book club and it's been scheduled since March. When they asked me, I thought for sure that we would have been up and running by now. Nothing goes as fast as you plan, but I'm not complaining. The workshop was for 12 people and when I called to confirm, only 3 could attend. Luckily, they were willing to make it an open workshop to fill the class. I had it up on signupgenius.com and in 4 short hours, the class was filled with people emailing me to find out if they could crash the party. If you haven't ever used signupgenius, try it!
There's a lot of barns in our neighborhood, but most of them are man caves complete with urinal holes so that the guys can take care of that without going outside. This is one of my neighbors, Clayton, picking on me by pretending to use my drain. I am making a sign that says "no spitting!" but I think they already did that. Guys are gross really - funny, but gross.
