Yesterday was a great day at Rhinegeist for Art on Vine. I am really digging the relationships that are growing with this group of talented people. I enjoying the visits from my Kings' peeps and of course the people watching is the best part of the day. What a diverse mix of cultures and social backgrounds that all get along. It's a breath of fresh air to see so much love and friendship when the media is constantly reminding us how we live in a world of hate.
Set up starts early for me. I try to get there and unload before anyone else so I can maneuver my truck and trailer out of there without hitting someone. We all help each other out packing our art onto pallets and hope and pray it stays on there safely to our spot. While we are waiting for yoga to be over with, we get to know each other and then it's a mad rush to set up before people see you and start buying.
I was happy with my set up this month. The ladder shelves worked out well clearing some table space and the bottle shelves were a draw to my booth. Keeping only one sample of each mug is the way to go with a one table situation. The pendants were a big hit as well.
